THE STORY BEHIND THE SONG

Draw A Line is the second of two songs I wrote for a project celebrating the life of Black Country artist Charlie Grigg who worked for DC Thomson (Beano, Dandy, Topper etc).

Unfortunately Charlie suffered from dementia in his later years, his drawings were used as a way back to the past (hence the song).

The Middle 8 asks the pertinent question: 'Who cares for the carers?'

The project raised funds to have a blue plaque installed at his former school.
