THE STORY BEHIND THE SONG
I was out running in my local area and saw a tiny Christmas tree by the side of the road. It wasn't Christmas time.

Intrigued, I stopped to see an inscription on the fence to Jayne and Jodie Scrivens, twin sisters aged 13 who had been killed in a terrible accident.

When I got home, I researched their story deeper and felt moved to write this song which hopefully celebrates their lives and how this event brought their parents back together again.

A dark sort of irony can reinvent the past
