THE STORY BEHIND THE SONG
Another of the songs from my writing sessions with the fabulous Carl Hodson. I love writing with other people – it gives you a fresh perspective and allows new ideas in.
Which is the theme of the song! I was definitely channeling my inner George Harrison with this – I’ve long been an admirer of his unusual chord selection and thoughtful lyrics.

We like to think how clever we are – but we are all born the same – with our eyes closed. The trick is to gradually open them and your hearts and your minds. So let your love shine out of you and it’ll come back. Peace!
